Ashley Stabile
Dance Instructor / Yoga Instructor
Hi, I’m Ashley Stabile! I’m a passionate ballroom dance instructor with five years of experience teaching dance, along with five years of experience teaching yoga. I love helping students build confidence, develop strong technique, and discover the freedom and joy that come from movement. I teach American Smooth, American Rhythm, social dancing, and wedding dance, working with students of all ages and experience levels. Whether someone is taking their very first steps, preparing for a special event, or looking to refine their technique, I create lessons that are supportive, personalized, and designed around each student’s individual goals.
My background in yoga brings an added dimension to my teaching by emphasizing balance, flexibility, posture, body awareness, and mindful movement. This allows me to help students not only learn the steps, but also understand how their bodies move, improve their coordination, and feel more comfortable and confident on the dance floor. I especially enjoy helping couples prepare for their first dance, guiding new dancers as they gain confidence in social settings, and supporting experienced students as they strengthen their technique and artistry. Every lesson is tailored to the student, creating a learning experience that feels approachable, encouraging, and rewarding.
I believe dancing should be as enjoyable as it is transformative. My goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment where students can relax, have fun, challenge themselves, and celebrate their progress. No matter where they begin, I want every student to leave each lesson feeling inspired, accomplished, and excited for the next step in their dance journey.
Brandon Roche
Dance Instructor
Brandon brings a mix of energy, humor, and enthusiasm to every lesson he teaches. Long before he found his place on the dance floor, he coached cheer, where he developed a natural talent for motivating others, building confidence, and turning hard work into something exciting and rewarding. Now, with several years of dance experience in American Smooth, American Rhythm, and Club Dances behind him, Brandon uses that same encouraging spirit to help students discover just how fun and empowering dancing can be.
Known for his outgoing personality, contagious enthusiasm, and wonderfully loud and goofy sense of humor, Brandon has a gift for making people feel comfortable the moment they walk through the door. He creates a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where students can let go of their nerves, laugh through the awkward moments, and celebrate every victory; whether it is mastering a complicated step or simply finding the courage to get out on the floor.
Brandon believes dance should feel joyful, expressive, and full of personality. His lessons are filled with encouragement, laughter, and plenty of positive energy, helping students build confidence while developing their skills. No matter their experience level, students leave his lessons feeling supported, inspired, and excited to keep moving forward.
Edgar Martinez
Dance Instructor
Edgar’s dance journey began in 2016 when he was introduced to West Coast Swing. Growing up in rural West Texas, where entertainment options were limited, he quickly discovered that dance offered far more than a way to pass the time. What started as a casual hobby soon became a passion, a creative outlet, and an essential part of his life.
In 2018, Edgar and his wife broadened their training to include ballroom dance. After taking a brief pause during the pandemic, they returned to the floor with renewed determination following their move to Chapel Hill in 2024. Since then, they have competed across the country in the amateur divisions of American Smooth and American Rhythm, steadily advancing through the ranks with their sights set firmly on reaching the championship level.
As an instructor, Edgar is best described as a Sour Patch Kid: a little sassy, undeniably sweet, and always memorable. His playful snark, quick wit, and willingness to speak his mind keep lessons lively, while his warm and deeply supportive nature ensures that every student feels encouraged. He knows how to challenge dancers without overwhelming them, using humor and honest feedback to turn mistakes into breakthroughs.
Edgar’s infectious energy and genuine love of teaching create an atmosphere that is equal parts fun, focused, and welcoming. Whether a student is stepping onto the floor for the first time or working toward a competitive goal, he is committed to helping them build confidence, strengthen their skills, and enjoy every moment of the journey. Students can expect to leave each lesson having learned something new, laughed at least once, and felt inspired to keep dancing.
